Bet types & in-play

Legal betting still leaves wide choice in how a stake is spread, and the bet type decides how many wagers one slip really holds. This section sets out the types and the in-play side.

The Trixie (4 bets), Yankee (11), Heinz (57) and Goliath (247) form the full-cover line, while singles, accumulators, each-way bets, bet builders, cash out, Asian handicap and ante-post fill the rest.

A full-cover bet costs its unit stake times the number of bets inside it. Great Britain bookmakers offer in-play betting, while cash out belongs to the operator’s product range and is no statutory right.
