Betting sites & exchanges
A legal betting list needs one test, and the web address is not it. The Gambling Commission’s public register is searchable by anyone, and this section builds on it.
Fully licensed bookmakers trade on .com domains, which is why an address cannot show legality. Betting exchanges run under the betting intermediary licence; new, independent, high-limit and no-limit bookies and spread betting platforms are covered too. A statutory cap on stakes in sports betting has not been established, and maximum stakes are left to the operator.
