Rugby, cricket & Gaelic

How far a betting licence reaches depends on the map, and these sports cross that map more often than most. This section begins with the border and then turns to the games.

The Gambling Act 2005 and a Gambling Commission licence cover England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland is outside the Act, so a Great Britain licence says nothing about betting there, which matters especially for Gaelic football and hurling.

In rugby, union and league alike, handicaps and winning margins matter; cricket turns on innings and match markets; netball closes the set.
