Payments & apps
Paying for a bet is a legal event as much as a financial one, because a licensed operator has to know who is paying before the first deposit. This section follows a payment through those checks.
Bank transfer and debit cards open the list, followed by the e-wallets (PayPal, Skrill, Neteller), the phone wallets Apple Pay and Google Pay, Trustly and paysafecard. After them come quick withdrawals, deposit sites at £1, £5 and £10, crypto as a topic and the apps.
Since 14 April 2020 gambling on a credit card is not possible. A public-record check follows when net deposits pass £150 across a rolling 30 days, and winnings from betting are not taxed for the punter.
